the other side
Each coin has more than one side. To be literal, it’s usually more than two depending on the coin. But for the metaphor, there are two sides to this coin.
It’s your coin. You’re holding it…. You gonna flip it? Or maybe you’ll pick the side you prefer. Is everythjng A or is everything B? Well, it’s up to you.
Plus, if you don’t like which side you picked - just flip it over again. People act like a flip of a coin is the be-all end-all. Your side can change, quite easily too. Don’t be afraid to spend an extra moment analyzing both sides and even taking both if need be. You aren’t throwing away your hard-earned coin.
So, how are you? Reading along? Does my voice sound funny today? Perhaps heroic, bellowing upon your inner ears? Or maybe it’s an elderly man, oh dear, barely carrying his own weight with his cane. Don’t mind me…
I hope it’s Matt Mercer. He does a good job. Maybe too professional for this, though.
Anyways, I hope you’re well. It’s the season to be well, to be sad but be brought up by the cheer of the holiday. Don’t block people out, let them in and let them share their stories with you. You share some, too. Might just be what you need.
